Hello! I’m Lauren Meece, a recent graduate of Baylor University, where I earned a BFA in Theatre Performance with a concentration in Musical Theatre and a minor in Creative Writing. I’ve just made the exciting move to New York City, ready to dive into the vibrant arts scene here!

Originally from Dallas, TX, I grew up immersed in theatre—it's truly the Meece family business. My grandparents are esteemed producer-directors, and my aunt and uncle are professional performers, so I’ve had the privilege of being surrounded by talent and creativity my entire life.

Most recently, I had the incredible opportunity to record several tracks at Milo and Rachel’s Sound Kitchen Studios in Dallas, which was an absolute blast. I’ve also been performing with the Historic Savannah Theatre in the charming downtown Savannah, GA, where I’ve had the chance to collaborate on some amazing productions.

Outside of theatre, I’m an avid reader and enjoy watching plays, often sparking lively discussions about them with friends. I’m also a huge fan of piano—though, I must admit, my little sister is the real prodigy in the family. As for me, I can confidently play four songs, and that’s about where my talent ends (for now!).
